Young Entrepreneurs of Today (YET) - Program Description

 

Our program helps to redefine entrepreneurship amongst youth by empowering them through education and application.  This program transforms local youth between the ages of 13-18 by equipping them with values to pursue their dreams.   The program helps youth to generate new ideas, conduct market research and launch their own companies through network and community support which is associated with making our community better. Increasing the focus on entrepreneurship will help improve a community’s quality of life which will increase the likelihood of youth who lead productive lives.

 

Young Entrepreneurs of Today (YET) approach designs services that include, financial management, 

 

The Young Entrepreneur of Today program impacts youth throughout Dekalb County and surrounding areas,  by providing young entrepreneurs with hopes concerning their dreams.  Having an entrepreneur program lowers the risk of High School dropouts and teen pregnancies.   

 

COMMUNITY

 

YET partners with local entrepreneurs to teach and develop tools to run a real enterprise with the right approach.  Our experiential education instills entrepreneurial and economic principles that will build them for prosperity.  Through this program we will develop, deliver and display an experience and opportunity to present the next Young Entrepreneur of Today.
